About Our Recess Coaches

Our recess coaches are experienced professionals with years of experience in the field. They have worked with numerous schools, bringing specialized training in child development, conflict resolution, and physical education. Their commitment to creating a positive recess experience is unmatched.

Key Responsibilities

​Our recess coaches are responsible for developing and refining routines to ensure smooth transitions to and from recess. They identify and utilize both indoor and outdoor recess spaces effectively. By teaching students organized games and encouraging them to take leadership roles, our coaches ensure that all students are active and engaged, regardless of their age or ability.

  • Skill-Based: Jump Rope, Obstacle Courses, Hula Hooping

  • Inclusive Games: Cooperative Games, Circle Games, Playground Games
  • Quiet Activities: Reading, Drawing, Yoga
  • Leadership: Student-led Games, Peer Coaching
