1. Are you located inside the school?
Yes. We are on-site at:
  • NEST+m
  • PS 110
  • PS 184
  • CWS

2. Do you pick up children from their classrooms?
Yes.

3. What is your after-school schedule and pickup process?
Our after-school program begins at school dismissal and runs until 5:00 PM before children are released to parents.
Pickup locations:
  • NEST+m: Cafeteria
  • PS 184: Front entrance
  • PS 110: Classroom 206, 207, or 209, or downstairs cafeteria
  • CWS: Cafeteria or courtyard

4. Is late pickup available?
Yes. Late pickup is available until 5:30 PM at a nominal fee.

5. What makes Super Happy Healthy Kids different from other after-school programs?
  • We allow parents to list SHHK as #3 emergency contact.
  • Our focus is on emotional intelligence, positive behavior, and leadership.
  • We maintain a low student-to-teacher ratio.
  • Our mission is to change the world one child at a time.

6. What snacks are provided?
We provide:
  • Certified organic fruits (unlimited)
  • Unlimited spring water

7. Can children bring their own snacks?
Yes, but we ask families to follow our healthy food guidelines.

8. What foods are not allowed?
We maintain a no sugar and no junk food policy.
Examples of not allowed items:
  • Oreos
  • Cheetos
  • Sugary or highly processed snacks
We prefer snacks with 3–5 ingredients or fewer.

9. Why does SHHK focus on healthy food?
We believe we are what we eat.
Children’s behavior and emotional regulation improve with healthy nutrition.
Our program encourages mindful food choices that support learning and emotional growth.

10. What about homework time?
All students complete homework until 3:15 PM daily.

11. What if a child does not have homework?
If a child has no homework, we provide:
  • Educational activities
  • Enrichment work
  • Skill-building exercises
Students remain engaged in productive learning.

12. Do you separate children for support?
Yes. We group students as needed to provide appropriate academic and behavioral support.

13. What is your student-to-teacher ratio?
Our motto is 8 students per teacher, and sometimes one-on-one support when needed.

14. Do you provide individualized support?
Yes. We adjust support levels as needed to help children:
  • Make good choices
  • Improve emotional intelligence
  • Strengthen academic confidence

15. Why does SHHK focus on emotional intelligence?
Studies show emotional intelligence is critical for success.
Even major companies like Harvard, Bloomberg, and Google assess emotional intelligence because individuals with strong EQ:
  • Create fewer conflicts
  • Work better in teams
  • Focus on solutions
We build these skills early in children.

16. Do you offer scholarships?
Yes. Scholarships are available on a first-come, first-served basis.

17. Are scholarships limited?
Yes. Scholarship funding is limited and based on available budget. We try our best to accommodate families whenever possible.

​18. Can families suggest sponsors or company matching funds?
Yes. If your company offers matching funds or sponsorship opportunities, we greatly appreciate your support and ideas.

19. Do you accept donations?
Yes. Donations are always welcome and greatly appreciated.

20. Do you have a store where we can donate or purchase items?
Yes. We operate a new and vintage store where proceeds support our programs.

22. Is there a donation link available?

23. Do you host annual fundraising events?
Yes. We host an Annual Black Tie Gala each year.
Our 2026 Gala is scheduled for March 29, 2026.
