Program Overview
The Early Childhood Development Certificate Program prepares students for careers in childcare, early childhood education, and child psychology. This 25-credit curriculum provides a comprehensive foundation in child development theories, safety and first aid, mindfulness techniques, educational philosophies, and classroom management.
ECD 101 - Adult & Pediatric First Aid, CPR & AED
Course Description:
This course equips students with essential life-saving skills for infants and young children. Participants will receive hands-on training in pediatric CPR, choking response, first aid, and AED usage, meeting national certification standards. Learning Objectives:
